Addor | town in S Moore County. Inc. 1881 as Keyser; named for an officer of the Raleigh and Augusta Airline Railroad. Name changed in October 1918 to Addor in honor of Felix Addor, local resident, who had been killed on the troopship SS Leviathan in March. Long inactive in municipal affairs. Served by post office, 1877-1918. |
