Alamance Cotton Mill, as it appeared in 1837 shortly after construction. The mill was built by Edwin M. Holt, a pioneer of the Southern textile industry.

Alamance Cotton Mill. It is a sepia print. There are people in front of the mill, which is a large building attached to a smaller building. There are trees around.
